Hotel Villa Margherita

Just got back from a wonderful holiday at the Hotel Villa Margherita, form start to finish everything was amazing, the staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was ever too much trouble. The facilities in and around the hotel were excellent, we eat a couple of time in the restaurant and the food was good and also drank in the bar and a good selection of cocktails. The rooms are excellent we stayed in an executive room with a hot tub on the balcony and really enjoyed using the hot tub in the afternoon. The hotel is in a good location and you can walk to local bars and restaurants which are also very good We had a very enjoyable holiday and would definitely visit the hotel again and we highly recommend the hotel

Truly the best hotel in Sardinia. If you can book the big suite I highly recommend it, best room on the island! Gabriela, Elisa, Marco and Daniela were especially kind, warm, helpful and a credit to the hotel. Ana Maria who served us breakfast everyday is fantastic and also friendly. She always knew our room number! Housekeeping is very very fast and are also friendly! They should all be promoted. I know this because I used to manage Hilton hotels in London so I speak from experience. The hotel is beautiful and in the most perfect location. Everything you want and need is walking distance. I have already told friends and family that they must stay at this hote and ONLY this hotel when they visit paradise known as SARDEGNA! We will 100% be back soon! Thank you for making our visit special!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay here in July, what can I say, the hotel in itself is beautiful with such good facilities. Every single member of staff we encountered was so welcoming and friendly. I have to say a big thank you to Gabriella who went out of her way to book taxis, trips, give out useful advice, and even gave my little boy a football and fishing net to use throughout our stay. Gabriella you are an asset to the hotel. We had one of the best family holidays here and my 6 year old child literally cried when we had to leave. The breakfast was great and had something to please everyone i.e a pancake machine for the children. The hotel's restaurant is definitely worth paying a visit because of the delicious local food and wine. I honestly can't criticise the hotel at all, if you're thinking of staying in Golfo Aranci don't think twice go ahead and book Villa Margherita.

First holiday in Sardinia and this was the perfect hotel and resort. The hotel is really nicely decorated, has a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. We made use of the pool and garden areas every day and it was particularly nice that the pool was never too busy. Our room was very good, great view, good air conditioning and a good size. We ate at the hotel restaurant a couple of times (we wanted to try a few different places to eat in Golfo Aranci) but we both agreed that the food at the hotel was the best we had whilst in Sardinia (the slow cooked cuttle fish starter was amazing - see photo). Golfo Aranci is a lovely town and the hotel is in a great location near to the main shopping area and restaurants as well as the beach and a jetty area that is good for snorkelling. We look forward to returning to the hotel in the future.
